Owyhee Picture Jasper

Owyhee Picture Jasper (pronounced Oh-WAH-hee) comes  from the Owyhee mountain area in Malheur County in eastern Oregon.  It has become increasingly rare, because mechanized removal equipment is no longer permitted in the specific area where it has been traditionally mined.
