Eudialyte is composed of several minerals, including sodium, calcium, cerium, iron, manganese, zirconium, silicon, hydrogen, and chlorine, and has a hardness of 5 to 5.5. Large semi-transparent crystals of a deep red color are embedded in a matrix of black, gray, and white. Mineralogists have determined that as many as 46 different chemical elements could be part of the crystal structure. First discovered in Greenland in 1819, it now comes primarily from the Kola Peninsula in northern Russia. Eudialyte is considered a stone of the heart, bringing harmony to matters of the heart and dispelling jealousy. It is used as a tool for learning to trust oneself and others. The pink & red colors bring the root and heart chakras into alignment.
