Bismuth

Bismuth is a chemical element with the symbol Bi and atomic number 83. These bismuth crystals are grown in a laboratory in Germany. Thet are produced from a melt at a temperature of 271 degrees Celsius. Growth of crystals takes approximately one hour, with slightly different temperatures creating different types of skeletal growth crystals. Varying the cooling rates after growth will produce the rainbow of colors visible on the surface of the crystals.
