Horsheshoe crab in limestone with seams of manganese oxide dendrites from the famous Solnhofen lagerstatte (from German, meaning a sedimentary deposit exhibiting extraordinary richness and preservation of fossils). Please take a close look at the photos, you will see it has been repaired through the center… still, a very beautiful fossil.
