Brittle star

The Brittle star is smaller and more delicate than starfish.  The arms of the Brittle star branch off from the body individually and at regular distances from one another. They were long and highly flexible.  Geocoma is one of the most common type of Brittle stars and lived in lime-mud.  The matrix of the Brittle star is primarily fine limestone.
